the birth of a new cycle
Pisces ends,
Aries begins, leading the Zodiac
the Alpha-Omega of the cycle

like Solstice, Equinox is a moment of turning.
but where Solstice is the maximum length of either day or night,
Equinox is the perfect balance between them.
Day forces are equal to the night forces.
Yin - Yang / Moon - Sun / Venus - Mars / Night - Day

As Spring evolves, Day lengthens & Night shortens.
Light growing, a quickening,
primal forces awakening, rivers rising.

Nature spirits join to assist seed emergence

Spring, the season of awakening, renewal,
fertility, and the promise of rebirth ....

Spring is a time for flirting, sowing, picnics, new shoes,

that sublime Spring softness in the air.
Spring fever, love is in the air !

No matter where you live, the changing seasons have their signals.

This hexagram is likened to the stirring of yang forces

A process of germination
which leads to thunder & lightening...
Chen = arouse, excite, inspire; thunder rising from below;
awe, alarm, trembling; fertilizing intrusion...

the shock of the new, rousing things to new activity, stirring things up...
hexagram 51 is upsetting yet liberating, stimulating creativity...

Yet a great deal of energy is needed
to effectuate this Awakening.
